Storytelling Coffee Drop In

Govan Integration Network invite you to come along to a storytelling coffee drop in with stories from countries around the world. Home baking and refreshments will be served.

Are there songs or poems that make you sad or even motivate you?? If so why not come along and bring your favourite track on CD or poem to our session where we will share and compare the things that mean something to us in our lives.

A powerful and thought provoking DVD which explores domestic abuse through the eyes of an Asian woman. The DVD is available in several languages from Strathclyde Police.

Cost: Free of charge and only for women who take part in the adult learning classes

Forced Marriage Legislation in Scotland: Your Rights and Responsibilities

Amina Muslim Women's Resource Centre is hosting an information seminar about Forced Marriage and the newly implemented Scottish legislation. Lunch will be served.

A question and answer session will run immediately after the viewing, panel members include Janis Morgan from the Domestic Abuse Project and Janet Bain from Glasgow Life.
