Promoting Women's Recover: Conversation Cafe

The North West Glasgow Recovery Communities invite you to take part in a Women's Conversation Cafe about recovery. This is a woman only event. Luch and refreshements will be served.

Venue: Woodside Halls, 36 Gelnfarg Street, G20 7QE

Cost and Creche: This event is free. There is a creche places must be booked in advance. Transport is available.

Monday 26th November,  assembly 6.00pm Botanic Gardens

Reclaim The Night 2012

Women, men and children are invited to jointhe march and get their voices ready to Reclaim the Night 2012. Sheboom will lead the marchers through the streets of the West End to a rally at STUC, Woodlands Road. Still We Rise will raise the roof with amazing harmonies and Jan Mcleod , Womens Support Project will speak on the consultation Criminalisation of the Purchase of Sex (Scotland) Bill 2. All welcome.

Venue: Assembly at Botanic Gardens at the junction of Byres Road and Queen Margaret Drive 6.15pm then march off at 6.30pm to STUC, Woodlands Road for rally.

Cost: Free. There is no creche but children of all ages are welcome to take part in the march and rally.

Hemat Gryffe Women's Aid: Open Day at the Drop In Centre

Hemat Gryffe extend an invitation to staff working in the statutory and voluntary sector to come along to an information 'drop in' event.

HGWA is the first point of contact when referring women requring advice and assistance or refuge accommodation. The organisation provides safe, temporary accomodation to Asian, Black, and Minority Ethnic women experiencing domestic abuse or forced marriage. Outreach services are also available for children and young people within the wider community and livign with difficult domestic situations which may include Forced Marraige or Honour Based Violence.
